Vinnie and Ethan piece of work primarily in the Southeast region of the United States and alive together in Richmond, Virginia. A mugger trouble brings them to Roanoke, where Vinnie is thrown out as bait to catch the man who's been snatching purses in a city park, simply they end up with more than they bargained for. Why is Vinnie always the i who has to wear the dress? Ethan says information technology's considering Vinnie looks much prettier in a skirt. How tin he argue with that?
Expecting to return to Richmond later on, Vinnie and Ethan find themselves assigned a new case instead. They are to go undercover at The Stroll, one of the biggest gay nightclubs in Roanoke. Someone is terrorizing both the customers and the performers. Could they be dealing with a hate crime? Someone has to protect the drag queens of Roanoke, then it's Vinnie and Ethan to the rescue!
Review: What happens when a dynamic FBI duo become secret in the virtually unusual way? Julie Lynn Hayes brings us a clever and witty story featuring ii delightful FBI agents who beloved their work and each other. Vinnie doesn't exactly love dressing up as a woman, but both the cases they work on require him to do just that. Afterwards capturing a mugging bag-snatcher, and ending upwardly becoming owners of his canine sidekick, Vinnie and Ethan are sent underground to a bar featuring drag queen performers. In one case over again, Vinnie must don a gown and wig while Ethan tends the bar. While the audience loves Vinnie'south operation, non anybody is a fan, and when someone decides to bear witness Vinnie only how much they dislike him, Ethan is nowhere to exist plant.
Bad Dogs and Drag Queens is a fun romp with two main characters that fit together like mitt and glove. With clever dialogue and a sexy romance, this story is a quick and easy read that's guaranteed to make yous smile. No large angst and a rather elementary mystery storyline combine to make this more of a sweet romance and so a thriller. The chemical science betwixt Ethan and Vinnie was quite genuine and lovely to feel. These 2 men simply were caput-over-heels in love with one another, and while they may not have flaunted their relationship, they definitely did not hide it either. Both had their ain share of humorous lines and witty repartee in this graphic symbol driven novel, but it was their piece of work together as detectives that really highlighted how much they cared for each other.
I do wish the mystery portion of this novel would've been a bit beefier and more thought out. The whole premise of the nightclub being vandalized and some of the performers existence threatened was rather weak. Yes, the final threat to Vinnie was realistic and a bit heart pounding, just otherwise, I felt the mystery idea was near an afterthought. However, the romance portion of the story more than fabricated upwards for that.
